Why Re-Boot.ai

Re-Boot.ai is a groundbreaking technology, designed to improve people's lives through bill payments. Our symbiotic software combines artificial intelligence, machine learning, holographic cryptography and incentives that have been researched, developed and tested by our expert team. We've found product market fit and are scaling our team very quickly.

Some reasons to join Re-Boot.ai are:

  • We're on a Mission to improve people's lives. These people start with our staff, their families and the people they care for. Our people are well looked after, so they build the things our world needs.

  • Exceptional product market fit: We have partnered with the largest AI/ML, technical and payment providers globally to provide solutions for anyone connected to the internet.

  • Strategic investors: we've raised a large amount of seed and Series A funding from key investors.

  • World-Class Team: Re-Boot.ai is hiring the best talent from DeepMind, Google, Stripe, Tesla, Figma and more to rapidly scale our solution so that more people can benefit.

  • Partnerships: Our engineers and researchers work directly with Large Language Model providers including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini and Meta LLaMA 3. We are also developing research and development projects that allow us to push the boundaries of possibilities even further.

  • "North of Fair" compensation

Role Overview

As a Quantum Information Scientist on our team, you’ll drive the theoretical and practical exploration of quantum-secure holographic cryptography. You’ll work on how our technology incorporates quantum mechanics, entanglement, and our proprietary holographic cryptography to enhance our future-proof security systems.

Your role will be deeply interdisciplinary—bridging quantum physics, quantum optics, and cryptographic models in novel storage and identity systems.

What You'll Do
  • Design and analyze quantum-resilient encoding schemes for holographic media;

  • Research applications of the holographic principle in information theory and entropy modeling;

  • Explore quantum holography and photon-based key distribution mechanisms (e.g. QKD);

  • Collaborate with optical and cryptographic teams to build quantum-aware secure systems;

  • Simulate quantum optical systems and noise models for feasibility analysis;

  • Publish whitepapers, present findings at conferences, and support patent development

What You Have
  • A PhD in Quantum Information Science, Physics, or Quantum Computing;

  • Solid understanding of quantum key distribution (QKD), entanglement, and Bell inequalities;

  • Experience with quantum circuit design tools (e.g. Qiskit, QuTiP, Cirq)

  • Knowledge of information-theoretic security, entropy bounds, and quantum channels

  • Ability to model and simulate quantum systems, including decoherence and noise

  • Strong mathematical background in linear algebra, probability, and quantum mechanics;

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with experimental quantum optics or integrated photonics;

  • Understanding of the AdS/CFT correspondence or holographic entropy in theoretical physics

Compensation Range

$120,000 - $160,000 USD
