Role Overview
As our Information Security Architect, you will design, build and test the security architecture across a revolutionary platform integrating holographic encryption, post-quantum cryptography, and optical key storage. All of this is focussed on helping people.
You will design end-to-end secure systems that operate at the intersection of physical optics, embedded hardware, and cryptographic protocols. This role demands deep security expertise, system-level thinking, and the ability to bridge novel R&D outputs with robust security controls, auditability, and compliance.
What You'll Do
-
Design and maintain the overall security architecture for holographic data storage, authentication mechanisms, and quantum-resilient encryption systems;
-
Define secure key management, access control, and trusted hardware boundaries across optical and embedded systems
-
Conduct threat modeling, risk analysis, and cryptographic validation for both physical and digital layers;
-
Build and enforce secure integration pathways between optical devices, embedded software, and cloud infrastructure;
-
Evaluate and incorporate post-quantum cryptographic primitives (Kyber, Dilithium, FALCON, etc.) into product pipelines;
-
Develop and enforce secure development lifecycle (SDL) practices for novel hardware/software/optical interfaces;
-
Interface with external partners, compliance auditors, and security researchers to guide certifications (e.g., FIPS 140-3, ISO/IEC 30136, NIST PQC readiness);
-
Research applications of the holographic principle in information theory and entropy modeling;
What You Have
-
5+ years in Information Security, with at least 3 years in architecting secure systems;
-
Deep expertise in cryptographic systems, PKI, TLS, HSMs, and post-quantum readiness;
-
Strong understanding of threat models, side-channel attacks, and physical device hardening;
-
Proven experience working with embedded systems, IoT, or secure hardware enclaves (e.g., ARM TrustZone, TPMs);
-
Familiarity with optical/physical security domains (PUFs, holography, anti-tamper tech);
-
Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks (FIPS, NIST SP800 series, GDPR, ISO 27001)
BONUS POINTS:
-
Experience integrating secure optics or photonic systems into a trusted computing base;
-
Past experience with ZKPs, quantum threat mitigation, or zero-trust architecture;
-
Strong publication or open-source contribution record in cybersecurity or cryptography
Compensation Range
$180,000 - $220,000 USD
